To anyone who wishes to post to this blog but is unable to log in please e-mail me at s.ouellette@comcast.net or go to the contact page and fill out the form, but please state clearly in your e-mail if you wish to post to the blog, I will never post any e-mail without the sender clearly wanting the message to be posted. That said, I recieved an e-mail that I thought I would post.

What makes good nesting material?

I take the nestbox and fill it with hay/straw, creating a little nest first, than I place it in the cage, and I put a clump of hay outside the nestbox in the cage to allow them to build, and add to it on their own, once you see them with hay in their mouth, they are definely going to kindle.
